Topic: Source Dedicated Server Update Released
Updates to the Source Dedicated Server have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your game server is
restarted. The specific changes include:
Fixed an intermittent crash on startup
Fixed round restart hitches
During the 09 Jul 2007 Source Updage, Mike Dussault of Valve Software said that update, "fixes the idle CPU usage problem. It also fixes the mid-round
hangs for some people but not others. We're still trying to locate the source of the mid-round hangs". Based on that comment by Mike,
we have been looking forward to the fix for the mid-round/round restart hitches. This apparently fixes that problem, which was originally introduced
as a result of the June 2007 Source engine updates.
