Topic: Call of Duty 4 1.7 Patch
Activision and Infinity Ward have released the Call of Duty 4 1.7 Patch (details below).
The FPSGameServers Support team has updated all customer COD4 game servers to the 1.7 server patch.
Be sure to grab the Windows client patch so that you can play on your updated game servers.

COD4 1.7 Change Log:
Fixed an exploit that allowed players to access certain console dvars during multi-player matches
Fixed a crash that could occur when a Chinatown Sabotage match would go into over-time
Fixed a bug where the MP icons (Bomb, Defend, Capture, etc) were always showing up as English regardless of the install language
Worth Mentioning: "My game server is no longer listed on the in-game server list": This may or may not be a problem for you, however if your
game server is not showing up in the COD4 1.7 server browser (after numerous "refreshes") then it may be necessary to stop your game server for 30-60
minutes so that it can drop out of the 1.6 master server's list; then start your game server and you should be listed on the 1.7 master server's list
after refreshing the server list again.
